Asadullah Malik

Since 2006, Asadullah Malik has been the CEO at Acme Information & Management Services (AIMS) Inc., a professional training and technology staffing management service provider of Kitchener-Waterloo region, Canada. Asadullah is responsible for driving the corporate strategy, business development, marketing, product management, and financial matters of AIMS Inc.

Asadullah has 25 years multinational experience of applying leadership, problem solving, and resiliency skills to manage cross-functional teams for in-time and under-budget delivery of product development, technology integration, and product quality assurance programs in the telecommunications, satellite communications & space technology R&D, and defence Avionics industries.

Asadullah has diversified professional profile, which comprise managing agile product development process for BlackBerry handheld design & development programs of Research In Motion (RIM); enhancing project management maturity of New Technology Integration (NTI) projects portfolio of Canada’s top telecommunications carrier (TELUS); establishing a world-class Project Management Office (PMO) for Space Technology R&D programs of the Pakistan's national space agency (SUPARCO); imparting engineering training as an Associate Professor at the National University of Science & Technology (NUST); and leading multi-million dollar initiatives for New Product Development, Avionics equipment & Precision Guided Munitions (PGM) maintenance management, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Quality Assurance (QA) management to enhance operational readiness of combat aircraft fleet and weapon systems of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

Having MBA and a masters degree in Computer Engineering, Asadullah is a PEO licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP), IRCA certified ISO 9001-2000 QMS Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB), qualified practitioner of CMMI V1.2 model, and an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality & Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).

Asadullah remains abreast with the emerging wireless technologies, and the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has published his related research work e.g. Cellular Multimedia Network Management by Optimizing Efficiency, QoS Level & Capacity. His other professional interests are continuous learning about program management and portfolio budget management.
