Subject to application approval by the PEO, candidate shall appear in the Professional Practice Examination (PPE) conducted by PEO. | Education Requirements | Bachelor's degree in engineering from a Canadian university accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) of the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers (CCPE), or equivalent academic qualifications. If your bachelor's degree in engineering is from a non-CEAB-accredited university, or a foreign university, then your academic knowledge will be assessed against the CCPE’s Canadian Engineering Qualification Board (CEQB) criteria by assigning you the technical exams of Confirmatory Examination Program (CEP), or to remedy any identified deficiency by the Specific Examination Program (SEP). If you are assigned to the Confirmatory Examination Program (CEP) and have more than Five (05) years of engineering experience then, to determine if your experience provides any basis to warrant exam relief, the PEO may grant you an interview with the PEO's Experience Requirements Committee (ERC). But if you have more than Ten (10) years of engineering experience then you will be granted an interview with the PEO’s ERC to determine if your experience offers any basis to warrant exam relief. |
